The ballroom
Would you like to organize an extravagant ball in the beautiful setting of a belle époque ballroom in the ultimate vicinity of St. Moritz, surrounded by the Engadine Mountains and lake Sils?
Or have you always dreamed of celebrating your marriage in St. Moritz and prefer to have your own special place away from the centre and the other big hotels?
The Maloja Palace ballroom has a total size of 326 m2 and can host up to 700 standing guests. At the one end of the ballroom is a stage which has already been used by the Engadine Festival in 2008 and hosts Opera St. Moritz in summer 2009. At the other end of the ballroom is a fully equipped bar, where cocktails and drinks can be served during parties and balls. A professional stereo sound system with surrounding speakers and wireless microphones is available for parties and speeches. If needed, there is also a movie projector available, with which films or presentations can be displayed on a 6 x 4 m screen, e.g. during a conference, price award or charity ball.
The ballroom also has direct access to the 200 m2 terrace which can either be equipped with teak deckchairs or cocktail tables. It is a wonderful setting for cocktail parties or afternoon sunbathing in the summer or a snow bar in wintertime.
The dining rooms
The dining rooms in the main building can be divided in three different rooms of approx. 200 m2 each. Depending on the number of guests, all three rooms can also be used together. The dining rooms have a total capacity of 650 sitting guests. A direct access to the large kitchen and all storage rooms enables a fast and efficient service. Even large dinner parties can take place in a cosy and intimate atmosphere due to a light regulation system which can be adjusted to individual needs. On the lower floor there is also a traditional Swiss Stüva, with direct access to the cross-country slopes (125,80m2).
The wintergarden
The 110 m2 large wintergarden in the entrance hall can be used for cocktails and aperitifs and also as a comfortable registration and waiting area for parties/balls by invitation only.
The Corvatsch lounge and cinema
The Corvatsch lounge is divided in two interconnected rooms of 70m2 and 28 m2. In its rectangular form it is the perfect setting for conferences and meetings. Wooden panels on the walls and fine wood carvings at the entrance between the two rooms create a wonderful alpine setting. A movie projector can display movies or company presentations on a 4x3 m screen. A professional sound system connected with speakers which have been placed in the ceiling will make your conference or an enjoyable movie evening a success.
The businessroom
A 40 m2 business room, equipped with computers WLAN connection and a large conference table can be used for smaller conferences.
The smoking room
Last but not least, smokers can enjoy a cigarette or cigar in the 40 m2 smoking room, equipped with comfortable sofas and coffee tables.
The golfhouse lounges
The golfhouse has an overall 163m2 lounge area on the ground floor, which disposes of two salons with comfortable sitting areas, one of which has a flatscreen and dvd player, as well as a dining area with a fully equipped bar and kitchen. Round arches and wooden panels create an intimate and charming atmosphere. The dining area has a direct access to the sunbathing terrace with teak deckchairs and a faboulous view to the alpine surroundings. The golfhouse can host up to 60 sitting guests for private dinner parties and 100 for cocktail parties.
